Team members from SCHEELS and School Bus Inc. delivered a bus load of school supplies to Axtell Park earlier this morning. The crayons, markers, notebooks, binder, and backpacks will be distributed to students in the Sioux Falls School District during back-to-school events in August.

For the past week, SCHEELS and Chick-fil-A in Sioux Falls have been engaged in a friendly competition to see which store could collect the most items. In addition to the school supplies that customers donated, SCHEELS employees raised $800 to purchase additional items and Chick-fil-A’s management team donated 500 gift cards that can be redeemed for a free kid’s meal.

School Bus Inc. drivers picked up the supplies at both locations and delivered the materials to Axtell Park.
